It was an unforgettable moment at the University of Benin (UNIBEN) as students walked away with exciting prizes—including a brand-new 2025 Alsvin Mikano car, laptops, MiFi devices, and airtime—during the MTN Go MAD Campus Invasion, held from September 11 to 13, 2025.
The highlight of the event came when Edomwonyi Osariemen, a 200-level Engineering student, emerged as the star prize winner, driving home in a sleek new car.
“I still can’t believe this. I only came to enjoy the event with my friends and decided to participate in the raffle. Now I’m leaving with a brand-new car! This has changed everything for me,” Osariemen said with excitement.
More Winners, More Smiles
Aside from the star prize, several other students were rewarded with laptops, MiFi devices, and airtime worth thousands of naira.
One of the winners, Daniel, expressed gratitude:
“I didn’t win the car, but I won a laptop, and it means a lot. Beyond the prizes, this event gave us confidence to showcase our talents and connect with opportunities.”

The UNIBEN stop marked the third phase of MTN’s nationwide “Go MAD Campus Invasion” tour. After thrilling students in Benin City, the next destination is the University of Kano, where more students will get a chance to win prizes and showcase their creativity.
